We seek to provide top-notch care that is available to all of the residents of Northeast Florida. It is our goal to make sure that all of our clients are able to receive quality care that not only meets but also exceeds their expectations.
Who We Are
Our administrative and support staff have been providing care for Floridians in need of help since 2004. We have had the opportunity to work with and aid many clients and we look forward to becoming a part of many more people’s lives. Our president, Melissa McHale, started Saint Michael’s Home Care with the vision of providing a service that exceeded people’s expectations. Through having pride in our work, enjoying the time with our clients, and a belief that we should treat others as a family we have all made that vision a reality. Mr. and Mrs. McHale, as well as the rest of our staff, are the embodiment of what excellent home care should be.
Melissa started her career as an Occupational Therapist after receiving her Master’s degree from the University of Florida. Since then, Melissa has worked directly with individuals in their homes and fully understands the increasing need for dependable, responsible, and compassionate care. With this knowledge and experience, Melissa decided to open her own agency to bring on the same quality individuals who share her passion for those in need of help.
Sean McHale got his education at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL where he studied Marketing. He previously owned a home care providing agency in Tampa, FL but he and Melissa McHale decided to move their service to the greater Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, and St. Augustine areas. Sean is also a Certified Senior Advisor, meaning he is certified to understand specific health, social, and financial factors that are important to Seniors. Sean is a volunteer for the St. Johns County Council on Aging and is a member of the Jacksonville Geriatric Society. Sean is originally from St. Louis, MO and currently resides in Ponte Vedra with his wife and two young children.

Director of Therapy
Beauregard, Director of Therapy, is a Jack Russell Terrier who was born on March 2, 2009, and was adopted by the McHale family at 10 weeks old. Beauregard is loyal, affectionate, attentive, and social and loves more than anything to meet new people. He enjoys having his ears scratched, long walks on the beach, and making people smile. Those are just a few of the reasons why he was promoted to Director of Therapy at Saint Michael’s Home Care in 2013.
